February 27th thru March 3rd
We started our trip heading to Florida City, Florida. This little town borders the eastern edge of the Everglades, and is so far south that Key Largo is 18 miles from the hotel room. On Wednesday we started off going to an Alligator Farm where they had all types of displays, shows and finally an airboat ride thru part of the Everglades. What a BLAST. Pictures do not do justice, but believe me, we saw more Gators and wildlife today than I thought I would ever see in my lifetime. We finished the day driving thru parts of The Everglades National Park and made many stops to see the sights and take some pictures.
This first set of pictures is of the Alligator Farm and airboat ride.
